BATON ROUGE — The United States Postal Service  held a job fair at the Baton Rouge Post Office on Bluebonnet Boulevard to fill several immediate openings in the local area.

USPS staff were on-site to assist potential applicants, answer questions, and guide job seekers through the hiring process as the agency looks to recruit motivated individuals dedicated to public service.

Open positions include rural carriers as well as skilled maintenance jobs. To qualify for these roles, candidates must be at least 18 years old, pass a background check and drug screening
