ADDIS — A group of children stumbled across a body late Saturday night in Addis, according to the West Baton Rouge Coroner's Office. 

The children were riding side-by-side between the levee and the river around 11 p.m. in a wooded area near Younger Drive when they came across the body of a young male, officials said. 

The person's name and cause of death have not been released at this time.

The incident remains under investigation.
