BATON ROUGE — The Burgersmith restaurant located at Perkins Road and Acadian Thruway is undergoing a six-week renovation to update its dining room, bar and kitchen—but burger lovers won't have to miss out during the upgrades.

The project, which began earlier this month, aims to give the restaurant's interior a refreshed look and modern amenities. The restaurant remains open throughout the renovation under a temporary, modified schedule: Monday – Thursday: Takeout only, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday – Sunday: Full dine-in service, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Regular operating hours and full service are expected to resume once construction wraps up later this month.
