ST. FRANCISVILLE — Families searching for autumn weekend fun can head to Camp Marydale in St. Francisville on Saturday for the Girl Scouts Louisiana East Fall Fest.
The seasonal community gathering features a pumpkin patch where visitors can pick out gourds, take hayrides and participate in hands-on arts and crafts. Members of Girl Scouts Louisiana East will be on site celebrating the season alongside festivalgoers.
Organizers noted that proceeds from the event support year-round leadership programs and community service initiatives for local Girl Scouts.
The festival takes place at Camp Marydale with two admission sessions available: a morning slot from 9 a.m. to noon, and an afternoon session from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
