BATON ROUGE - No. 7 LSU won against No. 13 Oklahoma 107-100 in a big SEC matchup Thursday night.

Oklahoma led LSU 23-20 after the first quarter, but a 32 point second quarter and 31 point third quarter gave them the lead.

Notably, LSU and Oklahoma got into a shoving match in the first quarter and the referees ruled it a fight. LSU's Sa'Myah Smith and Oklahoma's Liz Scott were ejected and will not be eligible to play in their next game.

Oklahoma's head coach, Jennie Baranczyk, received a technical foul in the second quarter. LSU's Aalyah Del Rosario also received a technical foul in the third quarter and head coach Kim Mulkey was served a tech in the fourth quarter.

Each team went to the free-throw line over 30 times as both teams combined for over 50 fouls.

Mikaylah Williams led the Tigers in scoring with 37 points on 12-20 field goals, including going 7 of 12 on three point shots, with seven rebounds and five assists.

The Tigers got out of their scoring slump, shooting 52.2% from the floor and 46.7% from the three-point line. They also scored the most points in program history in an SEC game.

However, turnovers and not performing well against Oklahoma's press allowed the Sooners to catch up near the end of the game.

The Tigers were able to knock down shots when they mattered most to keep their lead and eventually get the win to improve to 7-1 in SEC play.

LSU plays Mississippi State at 1 p.m. the PMAC on Feb. 2.
