BATON ROUGE — Two Baton Rouge rappers were arrested by federal agents this week in connection with a shooting in Texas that happened earlier this year. 

WBRZ learned from the FBI that six people were arrested Thursday morning in Texas and Louisiana.

Two of these people were rappers Ben10 and OG3 Three, both of whom are associated with Baton Rouge rapper NBA Youngboy. Ben10, whose real name is 26-year-old Ben Fields, was booked into the Iberville Parish Jail on Thursday. He was booked on a detainer from the FBI. 

TMZ reports that the arrests are connected to an April shooting that happened at Confessions, a restaurant in Houston. The outlet reports that Allstar JR, whose real name is Jeremy Ford, was already arrested in the shooting of Ben10. 

WBRZ previously reported that Fields was one of two people shot at during the altercation at Confessions.

According to a complaint filed by Fields, a large physical altercation between Ford and a group with Fields led to Ford allegedly shooting towards the group several times, striking and injuring Fields. 

Video surveillance at the restaurant allegedly showed Ford leaving the restaurant with a woman via the elevators before encountering the group that included Fields. During the alleged fight, one of the males involved dropped a firearm, which was then picked up by Ford before he allegedly shot into the crowd, striking Fields.

Ford then allegedly fired three additional rounds at Fields from close range as he lay on the ground motionless, striking him again. Ford allegedly returned to Fields a third time before pointing the gun directly at his head and allegedly pulling the trigger; however, the weapon did not fire as it was out of ammunition. Ford then allegedly pistol-whipped Fields in the face before spitting on him and fleeing the scene. 

In May, Ben10 was also shot along Wells Street in Baton Rouge.

WBRZ has asked authorities to independently confirm the arrests and what charges each man faces, as well as the identities of the other four people arrested in connection with the incident.
